Get The Skis Out Early Because Pomerelle Gets To Open Before Thanksgiving
There has been quite a bit of snowfall in the mountains around the Magic Valley. There has been so much snowfall already that Pomerelle Ski Resort has announced that they can start the season early. They plan on running the lifts earlier than expected this year.
Pomerelle Ski Resort Opening Early
In years past, Pomerelle usually opens around Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Sometimes that is even a difficult thing to manage if it has been a particularly dry fall. This year, however, the ski resort opens on Friday, November 18th. The lifts are going to start running through the weekends and into the Thanksgiving holiday.
Early Season Means Early Passes
You can get season passes for the year by going to their website. With the ski season opening early it is a good indication that you will be able to have a long ski season. Hopefully, the resort will be able to remain open and operational well into the new year.
Other Ski Resorts Opening
We don't have an opening date for Magic Mountain yet, but we do know they have updates on their Facebook and Instagram when they know more. We do not have an update for Soldier Mountain yet. Bogus Basin does not have an update yet either but they are sharing photos of their snow and preparing for the upcoming season.
If you are someone who loves skiing and snowboarding this looks like it is going to be a good year for you. I know a lot of people like to go out in the snow during Black Friday. Looks like a good opportunity.
