Twin Falls is home to many iconic businesses, stores, restaurants, and places that have been around for decades. Many have grown up in the Magic Valley driving past the same places their entire life, visiting their favorite places, and seeing signs, pictures, and decorations that many think of when they think of Twin Falls. While residents hope that these decorations, signs, and pictures stay where they are for years and that these businesses stay open, if they were to close what would you want? If you could have any memorabilia or history from Twin Falls, what one item would you want to have at your home and to call your own?

Taking Twin Falls Memorabilia

Recently, a video popped up on the internet of two men going dumpster diving after Joe's Crab Shack in Florida closed. The men decided to take a massive shark that once hung up in the restaurant. What their intentions are is unclear, but it got me thinking if all stores closed in the Magic Valley, what one item would you want to take? There are many to choose from and it is tough to choose only one. Everyone has certain places that mean something to them or perhaps they want a decoration that would stick out at their home and make for a good talking point. When it comes to the Magic Valley, specifically Twin Falls, what item would you take like the men in the above did?

While there are no giant sharks to take from Joe's Crab Shack in Twin Falls there are still many options. When thinking about what to take, the first one that comes to mind is the big martini glass that sits atop the Turf Club. While it would be tough to get it home and where to place it would be a question, it would be fun to own and perhaps put on top of your home. Another big piece of décor that would be fun to own would be the giant anchor outside of Anchor. One iconic sign that has been in Twin Falls for a long time is that of Depot Grill. While it is hopeful that none of these places close anytime soon, the thought of having these iconic signs and décor is fun to think about.

These are only a few ideas of what could be yours if these places closed down, but there are so many more to choose from. Perhaps it is something smaller inside of a restaurant or perhaps there is a place that has something that has meaning to you that nobody would think to take. If you could have one piece of memorabilia from Twin Falls, what would you want?

Honest Twin Falls Welcome Signs

I'm pretty certain that most people don't fully understand what 'Twin Falls' actually means. On that note, if Twin Falls had an honest welcome sign: what would it say?
