Is A Major Change Coming to All Fast Food Restaurants in Idaho?
The world is constantly changing and evolving, and as it does, everyone must adapt or get left behind. This is true for everyday life, education, and businesses, which constantly need to adapt and evolve. For businesses, this can be to keep up with competition or to find the best way to run their business and make the most profit possible. When it comes to the fast food industry, things are fast-paced. Everyone is looking to expand their menus and introduce new items and the best practices to keep their customers happy. Because of this, there could be some major changes happening soon to all fast food restaurants in Idaho, and some have already practiced one of these major changes in the Gem State.
Changes to Fast Food Chains in Idaho
With many people not wanting to work, especially in the fast food industry, many of the chains have had to learn to adapt. For example, some places have begun using AI to take orders, eliminating a staff member doing it. In other cases, like a few weeks ago in Twin Falls, Taco Bell shut down the lobby to focus on the drive-thru, limiting the staff that was needed, yet still having a successful night feeding the hungry customers of the Magic Valley. With the advancement in technology and with most customers preferring to stay in their cars, especially in winter in Idaho, could these two practices become the norm, ultimately leading to the end of people eating inside of fast food chains altogether, and limiting staff by using AI to do much of the work?
Closing Inside Dining at Idaho Fast Food Chains
Taco Bell has proved that you can function without allowing customers into the building, but how long until it becomes permanent and other fast food chains adopt it? By doing so, it lowers the cost of staff and could help chains turn more of a profit instead. While there will be some lost customers, due to the lack of being able to go inside, the money saved may offset it and turn a positive instead. As AI continues to advance, many have foreshadowed that soon staff all across the state and country will lessen, and AI will be able to lower the cost of staffing, while handling the same tasks. This is likely still a few years away, but some places like select McDonalds have already begun testing this out.

Major changes are coming to the fast food industry whether customers like it or not. The question isn't if these changes will occur, but when they will happen. Enjoy sitting down in a fast food place while you can, because soon it will no longer be an option in the Gem State.
