Is AI Making Workers Happy or Upset in the Gem State?
The world is evolving, and that means technology is advancing rapidly. Some of this technology makes the world easier, some of it makes it tougher, and much of it makes things confusing, especially for the average person. Not only are things changing with apps, self-driving cars, and ordering food, but also the way people do their jobs. AI is replacing people at companies all across the country and the world, and for those that it hasn't replaced, it likely changes how you do your job daily. Does AI make workers happier, or does it make them more confused and frustrated by adding to the workload?
Are Workers Happy Or Miserable in Idaho?
AI is designed to make things easier and to make for a better workflow, which in theory should make employees less stressed and happier. According to a recent survey by howdy.com, 73 percent of workers say they are happy at their job, with 27 percent saying they are unhappy. For those who are unhappy, 84 percent said they are burned out, they work an average of 43 hours a week, only 51 percent say they have a supportive manager, and only 26 percent are satisfied with their paycheck. For those who are happy, only 19 percent are burned out, likely because they, on average, work 40 hours per week, with 80 percent having support from management and 71 percent of them being satisfied with their paycheck.
Does AI Make Workers Happier in Idaho?
One thing that can make the workplace better is by having technology take away some of the workload. About 50 percent of those surveyed said they use AI in some form at work, with 29 percent being required to, and 13 percent saying there would be consequences if they didn't use it. While 52 percent did say it made work easier, there was a shocking 20 percent that said AI actually increased their workload. While AI can be a great tool to help, it can also cause more stress and make employees unhappier than they already were, or ruin their happiness if they enjoyed their jobs.

There are many things that cause employees to be unhappy at work, and to see the full survey of what makes them happy and unhappy in the workplace, make sure to click the link in the second paragraph above.
