New Food Franchise Coming to Southern Idaho in 2026

Southern Idaho is experiencing rapid growth. More and more people are quickly moving here each year. Houses are coming up quickly, whole neighborhoods are filling in, and new businesses are making their way to the area. Some places are returning after prior stints, while some local establishments have opened recently or are planning to do so soon, and some major chains have finally decided to give Southern Idaho a try. One major food chain is coming to Southern Idaho, and this one is long overdue and has residents excited for it to open. 

Panera Bread Coming to Twin Falls

Rumors had been circulating for months, a structure has been coming up for a while, and now it has been officially confirmed that Panera Bread will be coming to Twin Falls in 2026. No exact date has been announced at the time of writing for when the food chain will be open, but residents are excited to have another option, especially one with a reputation like Panera Bread. The store will be located at the intersection of Washington and Pole Line, at the new Sun West Village. Other places will fill in the shopping center, but currently, the only one on the sign is Panera Bread. As more updates become available, we will update you once a projected opening date occurs and when to start applying for a job. 

Panera Bread in Southern Idaho

There are currently eight Panera Bread locations in Idaho, but none in the Magic Valley. For those unfamiliar with the chain, it will be a great addition to the area, offering sandwiches, soup, mac and cheese, drinks, salads, breakfast sandwiches, and more. While the food is good, the ambiance of the restaurant is also great for reading, meeting up with friends, or working on your laptop. It is a great place to hang out, while enjoying a meal, relaxing a bit, or getting some work done. The location will be in an area that has been growing over the last couple of years, having seen Costa Vida, Chipotle, and Wings & Things open nearby. Twin Falls continues to expand and add more eating options, specifically in that part of town.

With no set opening date, residents will wait and watch as the building continues to be worked on, Panera Bread takes form, and eventually, the day will come when the grand opening takes place.
