What Would You Do? How Long Will You Wait For Idaho Fast Food?
What would you do? What would you do if you were craving a certain fast food place and got there to order your food to find out the drive-thru line was long and inside wasn't much better? How long would you wait? Would you go to a different place? Does it depend on which place it is? Would you decide to go home instead and save money? Would you wait no matter how long the wait is? When cravings kick in, sometimes there is nothing that will stop us from getting it, and for others, there is a limit to how long one will wait for food. If the line was outrageous for where you wanted to eat, what would you do?
Fast Food Lines in Twin Falls
The word 'fast' in fast food seems to be a mythical word these days. Fast food doesn't move as fast as it once did, despite having technology and employees to make things simpler. With the Magic Valley adding more and more eating options, lines should be dispersed, yet they continue to be long and force customers to wait longer than someone would expect in a town the size of Twin Falls. Raising Canes, Chick-fil-a, and Culver's are only some of the places that seem to constantly have long lines and test the patience of customers before deciding to go somewhere else for food or deciding to wait for longer than anticipated. These aren't the only places that experience long waits, as many sit-down places also have long waits, especially during dinner time on the weekends and on weeknights.
Drive-Thru Lines in the Magic Valley
With Raising Cane's having recently opened, the Magic Valley got a taste of how bad a drive-thru can be. The line spilled out onto Blue Lakes and went down Fillmore Street as well. If this is how bad the drive-thru was for Raising Cane's, how much worse will it be when In-N-Out opens, and you have two popular eating establishments not far from each other? While the honeymoon phase always brings out the longest lines, and over time they become more regulated, it shows that the wait can be a bit longer for certain places. At some point, you have to ask, is the wait worth it, and should you come back a different night when the line is shorter?

As Twin Falls grows, the lines grow as well. More people equals more customers. We all have places we crave and enjoy eating at, but there are times the wait may not be worth it, and another day might be better. If you pull up to your favorite place to eat or the place you are craving, and the line is long, what would you do?
