What Would You Do? Inappropriate Bathroom Behavior in the Gem State
What would you do? What would you do if you were using a public restroom and the person in the stall next to you began having a conversation? Would you converse back? Would you ignore them? Would you respond and tell them that you aren't interested in talking, but thank you for trying? Would you finish up your business and get out of there immediately? Would you wait to see if they try again to make sure they aren't on their phone? Talking in this scenario seems odd, but if this happened to you, what would you do?
Using Public Restrooms in Idaho
Going to the restroom is a private moment, and most do not want to linger in a public bathroom. Most people want to do their business and get out. There are times when nature calls, or for women, they must sit down and take a few seconds longer than men, but during these moments, most will spend time on their phones browsing or doing the deed and get out as soon as possible. It can be awkward to sit in a stall for longer than anticipated as others move in and out of the restroom outside of your safe cubicle. From time to time, someone may be in the stall next to you and it can make things awkward as most want privacy. Despite a wall dividing you two, it often feels like the other individual is too close. If they decide to include you in this moment by striking up a conversation, do you respond?
Talking in Public Restrooms in Idaho
Talking in a public restroom to strangers is typically odd behavior unless it involves apologizing for being in their way or talking while washing hands, but when someone is doing their business, rarely, if ever, does someone want to have a conversation. If the person in the stall next to you attempts one, unless you are feeling friendly, the best advice is to ignore them and act like you didn't hear them. If they try again, ignore once more, but a third attempt would be too aggressive for most and would result in an immediate flush and out-the-door scenario. This moment recently occurred to me, and luckily, I ignored them and they didn't make a second attempt, but I didn't stick around long for them to have that chance.

It doesn't happen often, and hopefully, you never have to deal with this type of scenario, but it can occur from time to time. The next time you are using a public restroom, if someone in the stall next door tries to strike up a conversation with you, what would you do?
