Twin Falls Man Charged with Rape after Meeting Teen on Dating App

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A 30-year-old Twin Falls man is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl after meeting on phone dating app “MeetMe.”

Patrick Ray Narcho was arraigned in magistrate court on a felony rape charge Thursday after serving a warrant for his arrest.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a runaway juvenile met Narcho shortly after her 16th birthday and claimed the two had sex about four times. She told police Narcho told her he was 19 years old.

When interviewed, Narcho told police they only had sex once and that he thought she was 18 years old. After finding out she was 16, he told police they didn’t have sex again.

The initial incident allegedly occurred in June of 2016.

Narcho is being held on a $100,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 22.
