Food Chain in the Golden State Closing 150 Locations
The year is coming to an end, and for many, it can't end fast enough. This year was not kind to many. While it was better than some recent years, it also had many negatives as well. While there are those who received great news this year and had some fond moments in 2024, there are others who are ready to start a new chapter and begin 2025, so that they can hit the reset button. For many companies, 2024 was terrible, and as customers, we had to say goodbye to some favorite places. Another food chain is set to join the group of chains closing locations, and this time 150 locations will be shut down, but which food chain is it?
Denny's Closing 150 Locations
This past year has seen many food chains closed hundreds of locations nationwide, and even some of these chains closed altogether. Another is joining the list as the calendar turns to 2025, as Denny's is closing 150 locations across the country. It has not been announced at this time which locations will be closed, but 50 locations have closed already, with 100 more set to do so next year. The stores they are targeting are the ones that are underperforming. The good news is that if the Denny's you prefer is typically crowded and offers good service, they likely will not be included, but if the one you enjoy is because nobody is ever there, it may be gone shortly.
Changes Coming to Denny's in 2025
While stores closing will force adjustments for some customers and employees, other changes may occur as well. Denny's has long been known to be a place where you can stop and eat at any time of day or night. They are open 24/7 which is something customers love, but that might be going away soon. Since the pandemic, there are more Denny's than ever that are no longer 24/7, and soon they all may follow the same hours. Many places have slashed hours over the years, and Denny's may be changing their hours soon to more normal dining times. Another change to look out for is that the menu will be seeing some items go away, as many menus across the country have dwindled their menu from over 90 items, down to 46.
If you are someone who enjoys dining at Denny's be prepared for possible changes coming soon. Your favorite item could be removed from the menu, your options on when to eat there could change, and depending on which location you prefer, it might be closed shortly.
