7 New Places That Opened in the Magic Valley in 2025
Many places have sadly closed their doors in the Magic Valley over the last year, and some beloved businesses have had to wave goodbye. While it is sad and heartbreaking when this occurs, it is also exciting to see what will move in next to these vacant locations. Sometimes the buildings get knocked down, and a new one is rebuilt in the same location, and other times someone moves into the location and takes over the space. Many new places moved into the Magic Valley in 2025, and residents are excited to see them in the area. Here are some of the places that now call Twin Falls home.
Modern Sounds in Twin Falls
Vinyl records have made a major comeback over the last few years, but finding a place to shop for them in Twin Falls wasn't easy. If you weren't aware, last year a vinyl record shop opened in Twin Falls. Modern Sounds is located at 127 Main Ave W and opened all the way back in March. If you haven't been downtown lately and you are someone who loves looking through records or are looking for a certain one, you should stop by Modern Sounds.
Costa Vida Returns to the Magic Valley
For nearly two years, the old Boomerang Coffee, located on Cheney Drive, stood vacant, and finally, in 2025, a new place moved in. After a few years away, Costa Vida returned to the Magic Valley, and this time, it has a drive-through. They opened in late August, just in time for the beginning of the school year, making for a great place for students of Canyon Ridge to eat lunch, as well as employees of the hospital. If you haven't tried them yet, make sure to stop by and check them out in 2026.
Comeback Sports Cards in Downtown Twin Falls
This was a quiet opening that you may have missed in 2025, but did you know there is a sports card shop now in Twin Falls? Comeback Sports Cards is located in downtown Twin Falls on Main Street and opened in the fall of 2025. If you or someone you know collects cards, make sure to stop by and check them out. You can get all the details on the store and hours by clicking the link above.
Grease Monkey Now Open in Twin Falls
We all need to get our vehicles worked on, and having a place to get our oil changed and other parts of our vehicle worked on is a must. Grease Monkey was a nice addition to Twin Falls near the end of the year, having opened near the end of October. They are nicely located at Cheney Drive and Washington, where you can get your car cleaned and your oil changed within feet of each other. The next time you need an oil change, stop by Grease Monkey if you haven't done so already.
Tacos El Chalo Serving Magic Valley Residents
You can never have too many places to eat in one town, and in 2025, the Magic Valley welcomed a new Mexican restaurant into the Magic Valley Mall when Tacos El Chalo opened in August. Their tacos are made fresh and delicious, and you can sit and eat them indoors, no matter what the weather is like outside, and then go about shopping through the mall or going to a movie at the cinema. The Brick & Beyond in Twin Falls
In the summer of 2025, a new store opened in downtown Twin Falls. The Brick & Beyond opened in July and offers Lego collections you won't find in the big retail stores. Legos are a great way to spend days indoors during the winter as they keep your kids quiet, and you can help them as well. They have something for everyone at The Brick and Beyond, and if you lose a piece you need, odds are high they will have one to replace it. For more on the store, make sure to click the link, or stop by and check them out on Main in Twin Falls.
Sierra Trading Post in Twin Falls
It seems like they have been open much longer, but Sierra Trading Post opened back in May and filled a building that was driven with anticipation on what would fill the prime location and big area. They have been a welcome addition to the Magic Valley and offer a variety of things to shop and browse. If you haven't been in since they opened, it might be time to stop in again and see what they have to offer.

Many places opened in the Magic Valley last year, and more will open in 2026. It is always exciting to have new places to eat, shop, and do business with. As the Magic Valley continues to grow, more and more people will call the area home in the coming year. Welcome to the Magic Valley, to all the new businesses that opened in 2025, and hopefully, they will stay around for years to come.
