Sierra Trading Post Coming Soon to Twin Falls
If you're into outdoor gear, adventure apparel, and scoring deals, you’ll be excited to hear that Sierra Trading Post is coming to Twin Falls. The retailer, known for offering name-brand outdoor and active lifestyle products at discounted prices, is setting up shop in town.
What is Sierra Trading Post?
If you're unfamiliar, Sierra Trading Post is part of the TJX family of stores, which also includes TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods. The store is known for deep discounts on outdoor gear, apparel, footwear, and even home essentials.
Originally launched as a catalog retailer in 1986, Sierra has since grown into a nationwide brand with brick-and-mortar locations across the country. Sierra celebrated the opening of their 100th location in 2024.
Where Will Sierra Trading Post Be in Twin Falls?
If you've driven past the vacant call center building at Pole Line and Blue Lakes, you may have noticed construction activity. The far east side of the building has been sectioned off to make way for the new Sierra Trading Post location.
A sign posted on Blue Lakes at the far east corner of the lot offers the only official announcement to date of the store's pending arrival.
Did You Know What Business First Occupied The Pole Line Location?
Correction: Thanks to TJ in Kimberly for pointing out my error in the building's origins.
Fun Fact: While many people remember this space as a former call center, Albertsons took over the location in 1998 and closed a few years later. Since then, the building has housed multiple businesses, including Dell and the C3 Call Center.
Other Idaho Locations
Right now, Sierra Trading Post has two other locations in Idaho—one in Coeur d'Alene and another in Meridian, Idaho. The Twin Falls store will be the third in the state.
When Will Sierra Trading Post Open in Twin Falls?
An exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet. I reached out to Sierra Trading Post’s PR team for more details, but so far, I haven’t heard back. There are also no job listings for the Twin Falls location yet. I’ll keep checking and provide updates as soon as I learn more.
