Idaho Cash App Users Are Running Out Of Time To Claim Up To $2,500
In today's climate, being cautious with money and spending is as important as ever. As we're all aware, the cost of living continues to rise and many of us have experienced that firsthand in our grocery stores.
With that in mind, we need to take advantage of every opportunity we get to put extra money in our pockets... especially if we were cheated out of it.
Remember That Cash App Lawsuit?
Back in August, our colleague on LITE FM in the Treasure Valley broke the news that Idaho Cash App users could receive up to $2,500 in settlement money. The reason for the lawsuit was due to Cash App Investing and Block Inc. failing to "exercise reasonable care in securing and safeguarding consumer information."
As a result of the suit, Cash App Investing and Block Inc. were ordered to pay $15 million in damages.
According to the initial report from our colleague at LITE FM, the suit stems from a data breach back in 2021 that affected an estimated 8.2 million users.
The Deadline To Submit Your Claim Is Less Than A Week Away
If you were using Cash App during that time, you could be eligible to receive up to $2,500 but don't wait too long!
According to the website for the class action lawsuit:
To be eligible to receive a Claimant Award for Settlement Benefits, including payment for Out-of-Pocket Losses, Lost Time or Transaction Losses from this Settlement, you must submit a timely and valid Claim Form. The Claim Form must be submitted no later than November 18, 2024.
That gives you less than a week to submit the proper forms for your settlement money.
Well, what are you waiting for? Submit your documents!
