Hwy 30 Alumni And Twin Falls Favorite Taking A Step Back From Music
Sam Riggs is definitely loved in Twin Falls. He has sold out shows countless times and performed at the Hwy 30 Music Festival nearly every year. If you follow Sam Riggs on social media you may have seen his announcement that he is taking a slight step back from music.
According to his social media post, he isn't quitting music at all. He will be performing at three shows this year, including Saturday night at the Hwy 30 Music Festival. Sam Riggs and his wife have a son named Rook. Riggs plans on spending more time with family and less time on the road.
In the meantime, he has taken a job in Alaska flying airplanes, which he says he loves just as much as music. He is still pursuing his passions, just a different one. And he did reiterate many times that he plans on continuing to make new music so make sure you follow him for anything new coming out.
Sam Riggs will be flying floatplanes with Alaska Seaplanes out of Juneau and he will be releasing new music this year. So we get the best of both worlds. The other shows Sam Riggs will be playing will be in Utah and Colorado.
Any real fan of Sam Riggs knows that he is an adrenaline junky who loves adventure, airplanes, music, and his family. I am excited to see him in June and wish him the best of luck in his next adventure. I am excited to hear new music as well.
