The Twin Falls County Fair is one of the highlights of the year for many Magic Valley residents, but it is still a few months away. Instead of waiting, until the end of summer, get a taste of it this weekend at the Magic Valley Mall Carnival. The carnival will begin Thursday and will go through the weekend, ending Sunday night. Friday, June 16 - Twin Falls Home History Tour
Have you ever wondered about the history of Twin Falls? What about the history of some of the oldest homes in town? This Friday is a great chance to learn about the history of these homes, on the Twin Falls Home History Tour. This event is free, and will meet at the Twin Falls Public Library at 10:30 AM. The tour will last about an hour and a half and it is encouraged that you wear walking shoes and be prepared for a little exercise as it is a walking tour. Summer shopping is a must, and what better way to do so than shopping locally at a vendor show? The HWY 93 Vendor Show is back this year and will be taking place in Jerome at the Mountain View Barn on Friday and Saturday. Saturday, June 17 - Color Fun Run
Have you ever wanted to do a color run before? Are you even aware of what one is? There will be a color fun run taking place this Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM, and it should be a fun time for all involved. The event will be at 315 Falls Avenue and sign-ups begin at 8 AM. The run will start at 9 AM, and there will be music, food, and of course lots of colors. The cost is $35 per person and the event is being put on by the Magic Valley Cheerleading Booster Club.
