Have Fun at 7 Events the Final Weekend of February in the Magic Valley

Another month is coming to an end, and this weekend one will be over while another begins. The year is flying by, and March will begin this weekend, but before February is over, there is still some time to have fun. Weekends are a precious thing and shouldn't be wasted, so get out and have some fun at one of the events this final weekend of February in the Magic Valley.

Thursday, February 26, through Saturday, February 28 - 'Sound of Music'

Going to the theater makes for a great date night and is a great way to spend a weekend evening or afternoon. This weekend will be the final chance to catch 'The Sound of Music' being performed at the Historic Wilson Theatre. If you haven't seen the classic yet, this is the time to go. Thursday, February 26 and Saturday, February 28 - CSI Women's Basketball

The CSI women's basketball team has had a fantastic year, and this weekend will mark the final chance to see them at home in the regular season. The team is currently 25-3 and on a five-game winning streak. This Thursday, they will be in action at home against Utah State University, with the game being at 5 PM. Thursday, February 26 and Saturday, February 28 - CSI Men's Basketball

The basketball season is coming to an end, but before it does, you have a couple more chances to catch one of the best teams in the country. The CSI men's basketball team will close out its regular season this weekend with two home games. They are currently 26-2 on the season and on a four-game winning streak. They will look to continue their winning ways on Thursday night when they take on Utah State University Eastern at 7 PM and then on Saturday when they take on number one-ranked Snow College at 3 PM. Friday, February 27 - Sunday, March 1 - CSI Baseball

The weather is supposed to be pretty nice this weekend, which makes it more and more tempting to spend some time outdoors. If looking for something outside to do, stop by and cheer on the CSI baseball team. The team is currently 13-5 on the season, and as of this writing, is on a 12-game winning streak. They will look to extend that streak this weekend with five games at home, spread out across three days. They will be playing Prairie Baseball Academy on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The team will play two games on Friday at noon and 2:30, one game on Saturday at noon, and two games on Sunday at 11 AM and 1:30 PM. For more on the team, make sure to click the link above.

Friday, February 27 - Free Bingo Night

Everybody enjoys playing Bingo. The anticipation waiting for that final number to be called is anxiety and excitement you can't get anywhere else. What makes Bingo better? When you get to sip some wine while playing. Free Bingo Night is happening this Friday at Holsinsky Vineyard and Winery from 5 PM to 8 PM. Saturday, February 28 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies on the weekend is something many have been doing since they were kids, but as an adult, you realize how pricey it can be. While seeing the newest movie at the theaters is nice, how about saving your money and seeing a free movie at the Twin Falls Public Library? Movie Matinee happens every Saturday at 3 PM, and this week they will be showing 'Paddington in Peru'. Saturday, February 28 - Jack Willhite Rock & Roll Comedy
