Am I The Only One Surprised Twin Falls Skate Rink Has Dress Code?

Skateland in Twin Falls apparently has a dress code. I honestly feel bad I didn't know about this before because I am pretty sure I broke it the last time I was there with my nieces and nephews. Skateland is so much fun I am glad I stumbled across their dress code so I don't get in trouble in the future.

Skateland Dress Code Information

According to their website, the dress code reads like this:

No hats
No gang attire/symbols. This does include (rap/gangsta attire)
No tank tops or spaghetti straps
No half shirts, mini skirts, short shorts or bare midriffs.
No dirty or torn clothing including excessively ripped jeans
No undergarments showing or cleavage exposed
No baggy pants
No pant cuffs lower than the skate.

Safety Issues that could arise from some of these dress codes

I understand no hats because that could impair vision I guess. Beanies could fall down over the eyes. I kind of understand that. No baggy pants or pant cuffs lower than the skate, that makes sense you don't want your clothing to get caught up in the skate. Same with ripped jeans. Some jeans get a little carried away and they are so ripped they hang down and could get caught in other people's skates.

Dress code rules I may have broken myself

I am pretty sure I went to Skateland in a tank top. I am also pretty sure I had a tank top that had symbols on it from a band that I like to listen to. It was not "rap" or "gangsta" attire but I guess I don't know exactly where that line is. I also had some rips in my jeans but "excessively ripped" is kind of subjective so hopefully I didn't break that rule.

I am curious if I am the only one surprised that they have one at all. I mean, I can understand, for the most part, it is their business, they can do whatever they want. I just feel bad I didn't know and I already broke the rules.
