A lot of us are looking forward to a long weekend and some us are depressed because this Monday is like every other Monday...it's a work day. According to a new survey from PR Newswire , 39% of businesses will be making at least some of their employees work this Monday.  And with companies that have over 1,000 workers, it's 63% . . . compared to 29% for smaller businesses.

The most common industries that require people to work on Labor Day are health care, government, education, social services, and religious organizations. Is this right...government offices are open on Labor Day?

61% of companies in those areas will be forcing one or more of their employees to show up for work this coming Monday.
