What Would You Do? Stuck in a Maze During an Emergency in Idaho
What would you do? What would you do if you were in a corn or hay maze and had to get out, but found yourself lost and stuck in it? Would you panic and scream? Would you backtrack and hope to find the entrance? Would you begin running and trying to find the exit as soon as possible? Would you ask the people monitoring the maze if they can help you out in a quick manner? Would you begin running through the corn or pushing over hay bales? There are many fun mazes to enjoy in Idaho this fall, and being stuck in one when an emergency comes up is not ideal, but what would you do?
Stuck in an Idaho Hay or Corn Maze
Many Idaho residents enjoy going through the corn and hay mazes around the state this time of year, but from time to time, while in one, an emergency can come up, a panic attack can happen, or you are over it and ready to be done, but sadly, you don't know where the exit is and how to get out. The type of maze may dictate what your options are. If you are in a smaller hay maze and can see over the bales, you could easily navigate your way out. If in a corn maze and you are good with directions, you could run through the corn in the direction you need to go to get out, yet this would be frowned upon by the maze owners. You could push hay bales over if in a big hay maze, but you risk hurting other people and destroying the maze.
Emergency While Lost in the Idaho Maze
While not considered an emergency, lightning and rain began recently when my family and I were in a maze. We were looking to get out to help my son get dry and warm, yet had no idea where the exit was. He began to panic as it had gotten dark, and he was not enjoying himself any longer. With no sense of direction and not sure where to go, our options were limited. Luckily, we found someone who knew the maze well and had already discovered the exit. They navigated us to it promptly, helping us get out. While it wasn't the first option, it worked and helped get us out of the maze. If lost and stuck in a maze and needing to get out, asking those that you pass is a good option, cause chances are someone will be able to help you sooner than later.

Mazes can be fun, but at times panic can set in, and getting out is a must. The more dire the situation, the more stressful it becomes, and finding a quick way out isn't always a simple solution. While asking someone worked out for us, that may not always be an option. If you were lost in a maze this fall and needed to get out in a hurry, what would you do?
