When the new year begins, many make resolutions to drop sweets, especially cookies. But cookies can also be where people sneak one or two on their diets, or ultimately end someone's New Year resolution. They are easy to eat on the go, delicious, and there is such a variety of types of cookies. Everyone has their favorite kind of cookie, and it is their favorite for a multitude of reasons. There are some cookies that many in Seattle would call their favorites that will sadly be going away in 2025, which means it is time to enjoy them while you can.

It is the time of year that many enjoy but also makes keeping a resolution that includes dieting. Girl Scout cookie season is back in Seattle and many are being tempted by the delicious cookies that are being sold in front of grocery stores across the city. Many like the types of cookies sold by Girl Scouts. They have a wide selection to choose from, but it can be disappointing when you go to buy a box and find out your favorite one isn't available. This is going to be happening often after this year as two popular selections will be discontinued after this season. If you enjoy the S'mores or Toast-Yay! Cookie, you will be disappointed to know this is the last year to get them.

If one of the cookies above is one of your favorites, make sure to load up this year, as you can put them in your freezer and eat them long after they are gone. It will be pricey, as each box will cost you $6 this season, but with this being the final year for these cookies, it will be worth it. If you miss your chance to get them this Girl Scout cookie season, you will likely be able to find a box online, but there is no guessing how much they will be sold for, considering supply and demand. If you don't know where to get cookies, it is always best to check your local Walmart, Target, or grocery stores, or you can order online by clicking this link

For more on these two cookies being discontinued, you can click the link in the second paragraph above. While many will be sad to see these two delicious selections go away, the good news is that Girl Scouts still have plenty of good cookies to choose from, and you may discover you like a different one more than the two you are losing. Get out, stock up, and enjoy them before they are gone.
