What would you do? What would you do if you could choose one final hoorah to end the summer before the season ends? Summer is one of the best times of the year in Idaho and there are many things to do and see that you can't experience throughout the rest of the year. The time is getting near when kids will be back in school, the temperatures will start cooling off, and summer will fade into our memories as fall approaches and winter takes over for the next 7 months. Before it is gone, what would you do to say goodbye to the summer if you could do one final activity?

There is plenty to do in Idaho in the summer, and figuring out how to end it before school starts or before the cold weather hits isn't easy. Have you decided to hit the lake one more time? Do you have a big fishing trip or have a fun day out on the lake tubing, skiing, and playing in the water? Do you decide to go camping one more time and enjoy stories around the bonfire, making s'mores, hiking, and creating memories in the wilderness? Do you pull out the kayak and go kayak the Snake River one more time or make one last trip to Blue Heart Springs? These are all staying local in the Magic Valley, but there are other options as well

Many people have a list of things they'd like to do in the summer, with some being able to check everything off, and others not being able to fully complete it. If you are looking to end the summer in style, perhaps taking a few days to go to Bear Lake would be what you need to end the summer and have a little fun. If Bear Lake isn't your style, perhaps take a few days and go up to Coeur d'Alene and have some fun at Silverwood riding rides and being a kid again or having fun with your children. You could spend some time at Red Fish or Stanley Lake, away from everything, or maybe a weekend trip to Yellowstone could be what you need to feel you truly got everything you wanted out of summer this year.

Kids are beginning to get school supplies, find out who their teachers are, and prepare for the new year to begin, which means there are only limited days left to enjoy time with them before it is too late. If you could choose one way to end the summer this year, what would you do?

Most Terrifying Attractions In Southern Idaho

The Perrine Bridge by itself isn't that big of a deal in the fear-factor category until you decide to do a BASE jump. That's when the fear level goes up to 10. Other places are just scary as the bridge.
