After much consideration, 95.7 KEZJ has three nominations for you, our listeners, to vote for. Here's some information on our finalists for December 2019's The Duran Group Powered By Epic Realty's Hometown Hero.

Shawn Hanko A.K.A. 'The Grinch' - According to the nominator, Shawn each year dresses up as 'The Grinch' and goes all over the Magic Valley spreading cheer. The nominator says 'The Grinch' travels to schools, retirement centers, and anywhere that kids and families are gathering. According to the nominator, the Grinch also comes to people's homes if requested. When out and about, 'The Grinch' accepts donations and in turn, provides meals and gifts for needy families throughout the Magic Valley. The nominator says 'The Grinch' is selfless and needs to be recognized for all of the good that he does.

Donna Lineberry - According to the nominator, Donna is an absolutely amazing woman. No matter what is going on with her health she is always there to donate her time to her community. She volunteers at St. Edwards soup kitchen, Filer senior citizens, the local coffee shop, Filer library, and Filer Fun Days. According to the nominator, she is a true hero to our community she is very giving, loving and kind. The nominator says Donna deserves to be celebrated every day she is on the Earth and they don't know where they would be without her.

Catherine Scott - According to the nominator, Catherine is a kind spirit to have around, but also is going above and beyond to make sure the less fortunate families/homeless people in the Magic Valley. She has worked for months getting donations so these people have food, clothing, toys, and hygiene products for the holidays.
