I grew up in eastern Iowa. I originally wanted to study Music Business, but decided Journalism & Communication was my passion. One radio class and I was hooked. I did on-campus work with our radio station, news station, and newspaper in college. Some stories and a documentary I helped make won some awards and I decided I must be in the right profession. I was introduced to Townsquare Media when I interned at 98.1 KHAK in college. I chose them because they're the first radio station I heard country music on as a kid. Since then I've been hooked. Ask me about a country artist. I've probably seen them. Don't think I'm hooked on one genre though - I fall all over the board with who I've seen and what I listen to. My iPhone on shuffle usually lands me between Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, Maddie Poppe, and Dan + Shay. Before packing up my life and moving to Idaho in 2019, I worked for KCRG-TV9 in eastern Iowa as a Digital News Producer. Now I'm the Digital Managing Editor for Townsquare Media Twin Falls.
