The nominator for Annette says she is an amazing woman. She runs a program for disabled adults and kids. She gives a place for people who don’t always have the support they need. She has gotten many adults a place where they can learn functional and social skills, as well as how to read, write, and hopefully become completely independent.
The nominator for Mandy says Mandy is involved in the Magic Valley community on so many levels but her biggest contribution is the quick response community. So much of the Magic Valley is rural and lacks the resources need to provide adequate medical and fire services. Having grown up as the daughter of a community police chief she saw firsthand how important first responders are. Because of this need, she started the QRU fundraiser in 2008.
The nominator for Katie says Katie always can make you smile in the worst situation. She is recovering addict and she works on it every day. She has four kids at home and a side business. She is nothing short of amazing and my hero because not only does she juggle all of this, she does it with style and grace. She shows up for the people who need her including not only the people she works with but for the rest of our community, family, and friends.
