Velma Anderson is November’s Duran Group Powered by Epic Realty’s Hometown Hero

Velma Anderson, who works at the Senior Center, is our November Duran Group Powered by Epic Realty Hometown Hero.

According to the nominator, Velma Anderson doesn’t just have one job, she has many. She is the chef and the Twin Falls Senior Center. She also works with people who have mental health issues and disabilities.

Velma is the type of person who will drop whatever she’s doing to help a person out if they ask for help. Velma puts together over 200 meals a day through the Senior Center making sure that our seniors of the Magic Valley are fed.

In her spare time, she also helps fill food boxes for people who can't afford much and helps fill backpacks for the children in Kimberly who might need a little extra help.
