Local School Hosting Harvest Fair Dinner and Auction In Twin Falls
Schools whether public, charter, or private never seem to have enough of what they need for a school year. Enter the school fundraiser. It could be braided dough, wrapping paper, or chocolate. There is always a shortage, and teachers end up bringing in supplies themselves to help fill the gaps. But there are some things, even kind-hearted teachers cannot compensate for.
An HVAC system is the sort of thing that has to be installed and paid for all at once. The Twin Falls Christian Academy needs help with its new HVAC system as well as purchasing new Chromebooks and jerseys and making other facility upgrades.
With a goal of $45,000, it doesn’t seem that bake sales and coupon books are going to get all the way there. Perhaps getting many people together to eat and compete may be more productive. Now is the time for a Harvest Fair Dinner and Auction. September 29th at 6 PM, the fundraising can begin.
There is nothing like bidding on your favorite item in an auction only to be outbid. This is the year you win it all. The tension is palpable. As your neighbor at the next table raises, you counter with a raise of your own. Where will this end? How much can the basket of goodies really be worth? EVERYTHING! Perhaps this is the year your spouse will let you go all the way no matter the cost.
If interested, there are table sponsorships for the dinner and auction available until September 22nd. They are also taking donations of items or experiences for the Harvest Fair Auction. To find out more about other sponsorship availability, email TFCA.
