St. Luke’s Celebrates Completion of New Medical Plaza
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – St. Luke’s Magic Valley celebrated the completion of its new medical plaza with a ribbon cutting and open house on Wednesday.
The hospital hosted the event a little more than two weeks before the $27.2 million Medical Plaza 2 will open on March 5.
“This is so much more than opening a building,” Mike Fenello, hospital administrator, told hospital staff and guests who had gathered for the ceremony. “It represents improved access to care.”
The facility expands some medical offerings, while relocating others. Clinics in the new building will include endocrinology, internal medicine, occupational health, outpatient medical imaging and palliative medicine, among others.
Debbie Kytle, administrator of physician services, said the nearly 58,000 square-foot medical plaza will better meet the needs of a “strong, growing community.”
After the speakers and ribbon cutting, guests were invited on guided tours of the two-story building to see its state-of the-art medical equipment and its roomy waiting areas and airy clinic offices.
