The Twin Falls Great Adventure Race on Saturday, July 23 will raise money to refurbish the College of Southern Idaho Fitness Trail.
It’s kind of mix of a road rally, scavenger hunt, and skills challenge. Team members can be men, women, or co-ed.
Each team will be guided to parks and other spots around Twin Falls where they will solve clues and complete a challenge at each location, and then get to the next site.
The team that successfully visits all the sites, completes all the challenges, and gets back to the finish line first wins the grand prize of an 8-person float trip down the Hagerman stretch of the Snake River from High Adventure River Tours worth $500. Other prizes will also be awarded from businesses participating in the event.
The entry fee is $75 per team through July 18. Registration is $100 per team after that. To register in advance, go online to http://recreation.csi.edu or to www.active.com. For more information, call Kimberlee Ward at the CSI Gym at 732-6475.
