8 Events to Have Fun this Easter Weekend in the Magic Valley
The weekend that many have been waiting for is finally here. After weeks of anticipating, Easter weekend is here. There were some fun holiday festivities last weekend, but this is the weekend that many have circled. It is coming earlier this year than most, but it will have just as many events and Easter egg hunts as ever before. The weather might not be the best this weekend, with rain and some wind in the forecast, but that likely won't stop families from getting their baskets and heading out to multiple Easter egg hunts this weekend. Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 - CSI Softball
While the weather might be a little chilly and wet this weekend, that shouldn't stop you from supporting the local softball team. The CSI softball team will be in action for four games this weekend, with two on Friday, and two on Saturday. The team is currently 23-9 and riding a four-game winning streak. They will play all four games this weekend against Utah State University Eastern, with the games on Friday being at 1 PM and 3 PM, and the games on Saturday being at noon and 2 PM. Saturday, March 30 - Buhl Easter Egg Hunt
There will be plenty of Easter egg hunts this weekend, especially on Saturday, and especially at 10 AM. Buhl will be hosting their annual community Easter egg hunt at Popplewell Elementary at 10 AM. Saturday, March 30 - Twin Falls City Park Easter Egg Hunt

One that many look forward to every year is the annual Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Easter egg hunt at the Twin Falls City Park. The hunt will begin at 10 sharp, so do not be late. Saturday, March 30 - Filer Easter Egg Hunt

The age groups for this one will be 0-18 months, 19 months-3, 4-7, and 8-10. Saturday, March 30 - Rockin For a Cause
Perhaps you don't have kids and don't want to do anything related to the holiday. There is an event this weekend that will help you get out of the house, stay warm, help a good cause, and have a good time. Rockin' for a Cause is a charity concert that is a senior project put on by local senior Baker Hilverda. The event is this Saturday from 7 PM to 10 PM and the proceeds will go towards Voices Against Violence. Tickets are $20, $10 for those with a student ID, and $5 for 10 and under.
