7 Events to Enjoy This Spring Weekend in Twin Falls
The weather is finally beginning to feel like spring, and it makes looking forward to the weekend a little more enjoyable. With the season getting into full swing, it typically means more and more events are taking place. Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 - CSI Baseball
With nicer weather expected this weekend, why not get outside, enjoy the weather, and watch a local baseball game? The CSI baseball team is in action this weekend and will be playing four games over two days. The team is currently 21-18 and looking to end a five-game losing streak. The team will be playing Salt Lake Community College, with two games on Friday at noon and 2 PM, and two games on Saturday at 11 AM and 1 PM. Saturday, April 13 - HOPE Conference
Do you know someone who suffers from Parkinson's disease? Are you afraid of one day getting it? If you have questions about it or know someone who has it, you will not want to miss the HOPE Conference taking place this weekend at the Canyon Crest Event Center. The conference is free and is happening from 9:15 AM to 4:30 PM this Saturday. There will be multiple guest speakers, a box lunch will be provided, and education on a disease that many in this country struggle with. The Magic Valley Arts Council will be holding an art class this Saturday from 10 AM to Noon, at the Magic Valley Arts Council, that you will not want to miss. The class this week is Knots and Pots: Botanical Macramé. The class costs $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
