7 Events to Enjoy This Spring Weekend in Twin Falls

The weather is finally beginning to feel like spring, and it makes looking forward to the weekend a little more enjoyable. With the season getting into full swing, it typically means more and more events are taking place. While staying in and resting is tempting, there is too much going on and too much fun to be had to stay inside this weekend. After a week of work, you deserve to have some fun and there are plenty of events happening this weekend.

Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 - CSI Baseball

With nicer weather expected this weekend, why not get outside, enjoy the weather, and watch a local baseball game? The CSI baseball team is in action this weekend and will be playing four games over two days. The team is currently 21-18 and looking to end a five-game losing streak. The team will be playing Salt Lake Community College, with two games on Friday at noon and 2 PM, and two games on Saturday at 11 AM and 1 PM. Saturday, April 13 - HOPE Conference

Do you know someone who suffers from Parkinson's disease? Are you afraid of one day getting it? If you have questions about it or know someone who has it, you will not want to miss the HOPE Conference taking place this weekend at the Canyon Crest Event Center. The conference is free and is happening from 9:15 AM to 4:30 PM this Saturday. There will be multiple guest speakers, a box lunch will be provided, and education on a disease that many in this country struggle with. Saturday, April 13 - Botanical Macramé Art Class

Are you someone that is looking at getting more in touch with your artistic side, but not sure where to start? The Magic Valley Arts Council will be holding an art class this Saturday from 10 AM to Noon, at the Magic Valley Arts Council, that you will not want to miss. The class this week is Knots and Pots: Botanical Macramé. The class costs $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Saturday, April 13 - Paper Flower Art Class For Youth

Perhaps you have little ones who would also like to learn how to brush up on their artistic skills, and they can do so with an art class of their own this weekend, also at the Magic Valley Arts Council. This class is for children under the age of 18 and will take place from 10 AM to noon. The youth class is free and will focus on making paper flowers. Saturday, April 13 - Dave Landau and Derek Richards

Work can be stressful and after a long week sometimes you need to relax and have a good laugh and forget your worries. This weekend there is a comedy show to help you laugh and forget your worries. Dave Landau and Derek Richards will be performing this weekend at the Orpheum Theatre. The show will be on Saturday at 7 PM, and tickets are still available and start as low as $30. Saturday, April 13 - Air Force Academy Band Free Concert

Sunday, April 14 - Learn To Play Dungeons and Dragons
