6 Events to Have Fun the Final Weekend Before Christmas in the Magic Valley

Friday, December 20 & Saturday, December 21 - 'The Nutcracker'

There are many classics when it comes to the holiday season, and the 'The Nutcracker' would fall into that category. The famous and popular musical will be performed this weekend at CSI in the Fine Arts Auditorium. There will be three performances this weekend, with a show on Friday, and two on Saturday. Friday, December 20 - Torrid Holiday Party

If you are someone who enjoys shopping at Torrid, you are not going to want to miss the 2nd annual Torrid Holiday Party. Admission to the party is free and it will be taking place this Friday from 7 PM to 9 PM at Torrid in the Magic Valley Mall. There will be giveaways, discounts, treats, and more. Friday, December 20 Through Sunday, December 22 - 'A Christmas Carol

There are many iconic Christmas movies, plays, and musicals, but perhaps the most iconic one is 'A Christmas Carol.' You have a chance to see the play live this weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Orpheum Theatre in Twin Falls. Saturday, December 21 - Movie Matinee

The holidays are a great time to go see a movie as a family and enjoy a night out, but the problem is that the movies have gotten so expensive that not everyone can afford to go. Saturday, December 21 - Slay the Solstice

Entertainment comes in all shapes and sizes, and this week will mark a chance to see some unique entertainment that you may have never experienced. This Saturday is your chance to enjoy a holiday-themed drag show when Slay the Solstice will be taking place at the Lamphouse Theater. The show will begin at 7 PM and it is only a $5 entry. Saturday, December 21 - Candlelight Holiday Special With Listeco String Quartet

This weekend will be filled with musicals and plays themed around Christmas, with Listeco String Quart offering a Candlelight Holiday Special that will feature 'The Nutcracker' and many other musical performed holiday-themed songs. The quartet will be performing at 360 Event Center in Twin Falls on Saturday at 9 PM and tickets are $28.62.
