There are a lot of different bands and musical artists who have taken on Christmas songs. The number of different versions of Rudolph, Frosty, and the Christmas Song sometimes makes it hard to differentiate between artists. Sometimes a group comes up with a great new Christmas song (or a terrible one that still gets played like the Christmas Shoes) or takes a classic and really makes it into their own. Mannheim Steamroller is one of those bands that stands out and is almost essential for Christmas celebrations. Their versions of Christmas classics show that it is possible to recycle a tired old song and make it better.

The good news for us in Southern Idaho is that they are bringing their unique style of Christmas music to Boise on December 10, 2019. Yes, that is short notice if you didn't already know about it. If you can't make it to Boise and still want to see them perform you can head down to Salt Lake City for their upcoming show. On December 18th, 2019 their Mannheim Steamroller Christmas tour will make a stop at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. Even better news, Mannheim Steamroller is such a popular and essential Christmas group, they have added more performances to their Utah stop. In addition to the 18th evening show, they have added an earlier performance on the 18th and a night show on December 17, 2019.

Mannheim Steamroller is one of the most played groups on the Christmas Station during the holidays, so listen online or on your phone to get into the Christmas spirit and get ready to see their concert.
