Nearly half a billion people play the popular game Roblox a month, according to Forward. Roblox is a user-generated, social game where kids create characters to interact with others online.

Some of these "other" users are actually grown adults looking to bait kids into private conversations, where some have even tried to coerce children into rendezvous, according to details shared in a national sex abuse lawsuit.

A young gamer who has achieved worldwide popularity was recently sued by the creators of the game for helping identify these predators, which resulted in multiple arrests, according to Spectrum News. Developers of the game are currently being sued by parents concerned about the lack of cybersecurity when it comes to older players interacting with children.

Parents have been complaining about the game for years. One parent contacted the game developer in 2017 over alleged inappropriate gestures and commands that game users were allowed to execute through the characters, according to a WCBD News report.
