Here’s the Secret to Giving Your Future Children a Sophisticated Taste
According to a new study from NPR, there's one secret to making your children into either sophisticated food snobs who eat scallops with a white wine reduction . . . or slobs who crave McDonald's and shamrock shakes.
It all depends what YOU eat when you're pregnant.
Researchers at the Monell Chemical Senses Center found that when a pregnant woman eats, the flavors basically take over the womb. So as weird as this sounds . . . your baby is swimming in mint. Or garlic, curry, vanilla . . . you get the point.
And those flavors are imprinted for LIFE. In other words . . . if you eat junk food, there's a better chance your child will always like junk food. If you eat broccoli, there's a better chance they'll like broccoli.
