10 Events to Enjoy in the Magic Valley this Warm July Weekend

Another week is coming to an end, and the temperatures are quickly on the rise. Somehow, most of the Magic Valley has avoided seeing triple digits this summer, but that streak is likely to end this weekend, making getting outside a little tough for some. Despite the heat being projected this weekend, the summer in Idaho is too short to stay inside on the couch. That is for the long winter. Get up off your booty, get out, and enjoy one of the many events taking place this weekend in the Magic Valley.

Friday, July 14 Through Sunday, July 16 - Rally in the Valley

This weekend will be loaded with fun events from Rally in the Valley. It will be taking place out at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds and will have concerts both Friday night and Saturday night, which will be mentioned later in this article. One cool part of the event is the $1000 Dice Run. The run will be taking place on Saturday with registration beginning at 8 AM. Friday, July 14 - Comedy Night with Derek Sheen

After a long week at work, you might need a good laugh to start the weekend. Derek Sheen will be in town on Friday performing at Big Papa's from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. Saturday, July 15 - Cruzin the Canyon Car Show

Do you enjoy old cars? If so, you are going to want to check out Cruzin the Canyon this Saturday in Wendell. The car show will be from 9 AM to 3 PM and will be taking place at Wendell City Park. Saturday, July 15 - Sawtooth Summer Shootout

It's time to pull out those discs and lay claim to the best disc golfer in the area. The Sawtooth Summer Shootout is taking place this weekend at Magic Mountain Ski Resort in the South Hills. Saturday, July 15 - Twin Falls Magic Valley Kid Market

Get out and shop local this Saturday at the Twin Falls Magic Valley Kid Market. Throughout the summer there are 4 different Magic Valley Kid Markets, and this is the second one and will be taking place in Twin Falls at the Twin Falls City Park. The market will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday and it is run by children aged 5 to 16. Stop by to see what these children are selling and help support them. Saturday, July 15 - Bicycle, Fire, and Water Safety Festival

A safety festival may not sound like the most exciting way to spend a Saturday, but if you have ever gone to one, you know they are indeed fun and offer a ton. The Bicycle, Fire, and Water Safety Festival will be taking place this Saturday in Burley from 11 AM to 3 PM at Cassia Historical Society Museum in Burley, located at East Main Street and Hillard Avenue. Saturday, July 15 - Spencer Crandall and Bryan Martin Concert

There is nothing like listening to live music, especially in the summer. There is a concert taking place this weekend out at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds that you will not want to miss. Summer nights with live country music are the best and this Saturday gates will open at 5 PM and you can listen to Spencer Crandall and Bryan Martin. Sunday, July 16 - Hagerman Farmers Market

The Hagerman Farmers Market is one of the more unique markets in the area. While it offers fruit, vegetables, and hand-crafted items like others, it also has live music, train rides, wine tasting, and much more. The market takes place on Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Sunday, July 16 - Parktacular Hope Fest

Although the weather will be warm this weekend, that doesn't mean you have to stay inside. There will be a fun event this weekend in Twin Falls City Park called Parktacular Hope Fest. Another weekend means it's time for Sunday Make Break once again at Michael's in Twin Falls. Sunday Make Break takes place from 2 PM to 4 PM and this week they will be making friendship bracelets.
