Multiple Agency Response to Centennial Park Incident
In a coordinated response, Twin Falls County Sheriff's Deputies successfully recovered the body of a man who drowned in the Snake River on Monday afternoon.
Incident Details
Rescue teams were dispatched to an area near Centennial Waterfront Park following reports from witnesses. According to these witnesses, the man had jumped from an approximately 60-foot wall into the river.
Recovery Efforts
The body was located by the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue divers. The divers, who launched their patrol boat shortly after arriving on the scene, found the body east of the park.
Ongoing Investigation
The identity of the deceased man remains unknown at this time. The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation and will provide further information as it becomes available.
