There are certain items that people enjoy and want when they go to the grocery store, a fast food chain, or a restaurant. When an item disappears that you enjoy it can be disappointing. It can cause you to no longer visit the place, or perhaps you find something new that you have never tried. It can be heartbreaking to think of a food item you enjoy, knowing you may likely never taste it again when it goes away, but sometimes luck is on your side, and that item returns. Costco has recently announced that they are bringing back an item they got rid of years ago, and customers are excited to see it return.

With items having left the food court recently at Costco, it is nice to see an item returning that left years ago. During the pandemic a few years back, Costco waved goodbye to the hot turkey and provolone sandwich from their menu. After a few years away, the sandwich is returning to the menu and will be available in Idaho, Washington, and Utah soon. The sandwich will cost $6.99 and be 820 calories. It will consist of sliced turkey breast, provolone cheese, red onions, tomatoes, and mayonnaise, all on a toasted roll. For more on the sandwich returning, you can click on the link above.

Costco has been making many changes recently and some of the changes have been welcomed with fanfare and others have been met with disappointment. One of the most egregious changes recently was when the muffin recipe got changed and the muffins were downsized, but that wasn't the only change to take place. Kirkland chocolate chips will no longer be sold at Costco, and there have also been changes made to the food court. Costco will transition from Pepsi to Coke this year, as well as do away with the roast beef sandwich and the churro. With them bringing back the hot turkey and provolone sandwich there is a chance that both items could return in the future as well.
