Chocolate Sold Near Idaho Recalled Due to Deadly Risk on the Rise
Everyone has a weakness when it comes to food. For some, it can be pizza, for some fast food, and for many it is sweets. When it comes to sweets some like ice cream, some like cake, but chocolate is a common one that many enjoy and love. Christmas, Halloween, and Easter are never complete without chocolate. With Valentine's Day fast approaching, many will be buying chocolate for their partners or dates, and it is expected that much chocolate will be sold. One problem with buying chocolate right now is that there is a recall on some that could cause death and be at a deadly level.
Recall of Chocolate Near Idaho
For anyone who enjoys chocolate made by Cal Yee Farms, you might want to put down the next piece you think about eating. A recall of the chocolate has been elevated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as they now face the highest risk level possible, a Class 1 status. The products affected are known to be dark chocolate walnuts, yogurt-coated almonds, and butter toffee. The reason for the recall is that these items may include undeclared milk, soy, wheat, sesame, almonds, and FD&C # 6. The good news is that none of the items listed above have been distributed to Idaho, but are in a few nearby states.
Chocolate Could Cause Death in New Idaho
The good news for Idaho is that the chocolate has not been in the state, but for those that travel or have friends or family that send them chocolate, be aware that currently the places known to have the product are Arizona, Texas, Virginia, New Mexico, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and most alarming to Idaho, Oregon, and California as well. As a Class 1 status, there is a high probability that contact with the items in question could lead to severe consequences and potentially death. The items being sold to keep an eye out for are in plastic bags with bright yellow labels.

If you have any of the chocolate listed above, it is best to toss it into the trash. If you see some and contemplate buying it, it is best to pass on it for the time being. Make sure to let any friend or family members in the states listed above be aware, to stop them from consuming the product as well.
