Summer is fast approaching and many will be excited to get out and go camping, take their boat out, go kayaking, or enjoy hiking in the area. It is a great time to take a week or two off of work and travel or to spend time at home doing yard work or being outdoors. The best time of the year to enjoy the Magic Valley and the entire state of Idaho is summer. There is much to see and do, but also there are tons of events that take place that make each summer memorable. A new event is set to take place this summer and will be happening weekly, beginning this month.

Every day around noon, many residents in the Magic Valley leave their jobs for 30 minutes, perhaps an hour to enjoy lunch and to get out of the office. Some will go home, some will run to the store, others will sit in their car, and some will go get something to eat. Instead of trying to figure out what to do for lunch this summer, how about on Wednesdays you head to the Twin Falls Public Library Lawn for their new weekly event, Forktales? There will be food trucks every week, people to interact with if you choose, and a thrilling short story being read

Forktales is a great way to spend your lunch hour by getting a bite and enjoying a story, without spending your break on your phone, on a computer, or stressing about work. Escape into a story while you relax and eat. You can bring our food or choose from one of the many food trucks on site. The first Forktales will be happening on Wednesday, May 21 beginning at noon and will last until 1:30 PM. It will happen every Wednesday until June 25. You can see a full list of the stories that will be read each week, as well as a list of which food trucks will be at the event each week by clicking the link in the paragraph above.

Make sure to stop by and check it out on Wednesdays over the next few months.
