TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-A Twin Falls man who traveled to Arizona to pick up methamphetamine and bring it back to Idaho will spend more than a decade behind federal prison bars. The Acting U.S. Attorney Rafael Gonzalez Jr. announced 50-year-old Cody Moore was sentenced to 12.5 years behind bars on conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. According to court documents, in 2019 Moore, along with co-conspirator Brian Felt, of Pocatello, were stopped in Bannock County after traveling to Arizona to pick up the drugs. A drug dog indicated to officers that there were drugs inside the car. Officers found 1.88 kilograms of methamphetamine and three handguns. Moore will have to serve five years of supervised release once he is out of prison; he pleaded guilty in September 2021. Felt, 47, was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison back in October of 2020.
