Victim Identified in Fatal Blue Lakes Blvd Accident in Twin Falls

The Twin Falls Police Department has identified the victim in a tragic single-vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Eleazar Perez-Patino, 36, of Twin Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency responders from the Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls Fire Department, and Magic Valley Paramedics arrived at approximately 4:00 p.m. after receiving reports of the crash in the 200 block of Blue Lakes Blvd. They discovered a severely damaged vehicle and an unresponsive driver. Despite extensive efforts by paramedics, Perez-Patino could not be revived.

“Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of Eleazar Perez-Patino during this difficult time,” the Twin Falls Police Department stated.

Investigation Continues

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Twin Falls Police Department's traffic unit. Preliminary findings suggest that speed and road conditions may have been contributing factors. A thorough investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.

Traffic Disruption

A portion of Blue Lakes Blvd was temporarily closed to traffic as authorities investigated and cleared the scene. The roadway has since been reopened.
