Fatal Crash Claims Life of McCall Man Near Yellow Pine
YELLOW PINE, Idaho – March 22, 2025 – Idaho State Police is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Saturday morning southwest of Yellow Pine in Valley County.
The vehicle Left the Road and Struck a Tree
According to ISP, the crash happened at around 4:11 a.m. on South Fork Road near mile marker 19. A 2017 Ford F350 was traveling north when the driver failed to navigate a turn. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Driver Died at the Scene, Passenger Hospitalized
The 62-year-old male driver from McCall was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene due to his injuries. A 59-year-old woman from Donnelly, who was riding as a passenger and also not wearing a seatbelt, was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
ISP Investigation Ongoing
The Idaho State Police continues to investigate the crash.
