Another Store in the Magic Valley Closes Its Doors

Twin Falls continues to be a revolving door of places coming and going. New places are constantly moving in, and oftentimes at the expense of older places moving out. It seems to be the way the town works. There aren't many buildings that sit empty for long, which is why when one is, it catches people's eyes. One place that called Twin Falls home has shut its doors for good and currently sits empty, and perhaps you didn't know they were gone yet. Who left and what will fill their void in Twin Falls?

Pedego in Twin Falls Closes Their Doors

In April of 2023, a new and exciting electric bike store opened in Twin Falls called Pedego. They offered electric bike rentals and bikes for sale. With being close to the canyon rim, it seemed like a great business in a prime location. They were located at 1239 Pole Line Rd, next to Jamba Juice. Being able to ride a bike into the canyon and back up without having to peddle made for a great way for people of all ages to enjoy the beauty around town, especially on those beautiful spring and summer afternoons. Sadly, the store has closed though, with August 23 having been their last day.

Like many businesses, they were hurt by online sales, as many shoppers went the online route, instead of shopping in-store. The good news is that if you are still in the market for an electric bike, they still have some for sale, and you can reach out to them via text or phone call at 208-731-3433 and ask what they currently still have. Sadly, renting bikes is no longer an option. The building currently sits empty as it has been cleared out, and the sign has come down. Time will tell what will fill the empty area, and those who enjoyed renting bikes will now have to search for other options.

It is heartbreaking to continue to see these stores come and go in Twin Falls, which is why it is important to get out and support them when they open.
