The Magic Valley is home to some incredible places to eat. They have good hamburgers, good barbeque, good pizza, and of course delicious ice cream. It isn't hard to find good eating in the Magic Valley, but finding those special places can sometimes be difficult. Every town has local places that you can't get anywhere else that are special and hit just right when you eat them. A new food truck now calls the Magic Valley home and offers some unique foods that may be what you need to hit the spot and fill some cravings.

Food trucks have become more and more popular in the last few years, as they are cheaper to maintain, you don't need as big of a staff, and you can be mobile. The Magic Valley has incredible food trucks, and a new one is joining the group. Blue Bear is a new food truck that is filling bellies in the area with a unique brand of food that you can't find in many places, if anywhere. They began in January and have been moving around and doing events, but now have found a spot to call home in front of Commercial Tires, just outside of Buhl on HWY 30, where they are from Monday through Friday. They can also be found working events on weekends.

Despite the phone number on the side of the truck, the owners of Blue Bear, Greg and Becca are from Buhl. They look to create new things by offering some unique foods that other places don't have. They have a special menu that they offer, with each day offering something different. On Monday they offer bacon-wrapped brats, on Tuesday they have ribs with corn and potato salad, on Wednesday they offer pulled pork sandwiches topped with coleslaw, on Thursday they have Philly cheesesteaks, and on Friday they offer their special BBQ bacon brisket burger with mac and cheese on the side or chips. They are open from 11 AM to 3 PM Monday through Thursday and from 11 AM to 8 PM on Friday. They also support first responders by allowing them to eat for free when on duty.
