The Life Of Living In A Hotel: Holiday Inn Express, My Current Home
Have you stayed in a hotel in your hometown? For years growing up, I drove past the same hotels day after day and year after year, but never stayed at them once. I never had a reason to. Since moving to Twin Falls, I am still waiting for my place, so I have been staying in a hotel. If you are curious like me and have wondered which hotels are good or not in your town, I am here to shed some light on the one I have been staying in.
I have been staying at the Holiday Inn Express off of Fillmore and have been pretty happy with my stay. It is clean, feels safe, and is pretty quiet. The hotel is in a great location with WinCo, Target, and Costco all within walking distance. The amenities are nice as well. There is an indoor pool that is open until midnight, with 11 PM - 12 AM being adults only, a 24-hour gym, fridge, and microwave in the room and they offer breakfast from 6:30-9:30 every morning. The room is spacious and very clean. Parking is easy to access and close to the entrances.
The only real downfalls of staying here are me being nitpicky. My room races the back of the WinCo, so there isn't much of a view from my room. The only other issue I have is that the hot tub has been broken all week. It was not mentioned anywhere beforehand and has been a little bit of a downer, as I was looking forward to using it. The pool is open, just not the hot tub.
Overall I would give the hotel an 8/10. I would recommend it to my family as well as stay here again if I ever needed to. I booked through a third party and got the room for around a hundred dollars, which I think is pretty acceptable. It is decently priced, well located, clean, and is overall very peaceful.
If you ever are in a pinch and need to stay somewhere in town, don't hesitate to check out the Holiday Inn Express on Fillmore.
