According to a recent study by remitly.com, Meridian is the best town in Idaho for community spirit. The study takes into consideration the number of opportunities and meet up with folks, which means better community spirit. Boise was the second-best city in Idaho, with Nampa being three, Idaho Falls being four, and Caldwell rounding out the top five. While not on the list, Twin Falls I would say does a great job of having community spirit, as there are many events throughout the year.

It may be surprising to some to not see Boise as number one on the list for Idaho. When it comes to around the country, I am sure certain cities stick out, but like the Idaho list, are there surprises? The number one community spirit city is Seattle, with Boston being second and Portland being third. This is surprising as many would have thought places like Miami, San Diego, and other cities where getting out more is common. With the weather in Seattle and Portland not being the best, it would be assumed that many would stay inside and dry, but according to the study, that is not the case.
