We'd like to thank "Survivor" finalist Alexis Jones for stopping by the studio this morning.  Alexis will be speaking tonight at CSI.  She's really doing some amazing things following her stint on Survivor.  If you have children, (especially girls) I highly recommend you take them to the presentation.  Alexis has a lot to say and is all about giving our kids positive, smart role models they can look up to.

When she’s not on the lecture circuit, Jones is a lifestyle and image consultant and founder of the empowerment organization ‘I Am That Girl.’ Her Twin Falls presentation will be inspirational, encouraging, and fun for all ages.

Saturday night, it’ll be a talent show featuring many great talents from this area. Admission is by donation and all proceeds go to the CSI Refugee Center.

Here are some other events coming up at CSI that you'll want to check out as well.

Daniel Beaty will speak next Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall as part of CSI’s Poetry Month observance. Beaty is a poet, singer, composer, and author who has appeared before audiences in America, Europe, and Africa. He’s also been featured on Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam and other shows. Admission is free of charge. Local musician Ethan Tucker will open for him.

Arts on Tour finishes its season next week with the Kenya Safari Acrobats – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20th.
