School cancellations and delays reported for 1/16/2024

Southern Idaho and the greater Twin Falls area continue to deal with travel issues due the recent storm that passed through the Magic Valley over the weekend. Over the last several days, there have been reports of multiple slide-offs, stuck vehicles, and low temperatures creating issues with getting private and public transportation vehicles started and on the roads. Plows have been working steadily over the last several days to help keep the roads clear

More snow in the forecast in Southern Idaho over the next several days

There's another storm system heading into Southern Idaho over the next several days with some sources saying would could easily see up to another six inches of snow by Thursday. With that in mind, there's a possibility we'll be experiencing more closures as we head towards the middle and end of this week.
