Costco Price Change in ID, WA, and UT Has Customers Upset

Everything seems to be going up in price these days. Due to inflation and the cost of living rising all across the globe, many things continue to go up in price. Gas, groceries, housing, clothing, and everything a person needs to live seems to be on the rise, yet customers and residents still get upset every time something increases in value, especially when it is a significant and noticeable rise. One popular chain has recently made a change to one of its items and has nearly doubled the price, upsetting customers in Idaho, Washington, and Utah.

Costco is one of the most popular places to shop, with great prices, bulk options, clothing, food, and everything you could want. One of the best parts about Costco is the food court because you can eat while you shop or get an affordable meal after you are done or before you start. Recently, Costco brought back the hot turkey and provolone sandwich, which had many customers happy, but most assumed the price would be the same, and that is not the case. The item has nearly doubled, as it used to be $3.99, and is now being sold for $6.99. While three dollars may not seem like much, is it a sign of things to come, and should customers be concerned?

With the increase in the price of the hot turkey and provolone sandwiches, many are questioning that Costco is going to increase the prices of more items and that it is a sign of things to come. Costco has not released a statement yet to address the increase in the sandwich but did reassure customers that the price for a hotdog and drink will not be changing anytime soon and will be staying at $1.50. As things go up in price, Costco may need to adjust prices from time to time, but it is worth monitoring moving forward.
