Twin Falls and the Magic Valley are continuing to grow. It seems weekly a new store is moving into town, or rumors are spreading of a new place that will soon call the Magic Valley home. Many places have moved out over the years that didn't fit the direction of the Magic Valley, while others have moved in. Some of these places have had success and thrived, while others have struggled and packed up and left town after only a year or two. Rumors are constantly circulating the area about what is or is not moving into town, and recently one rumor made the rounds. Are the rumors true and a popular food chain is coming to Twin Falls or has the story been debunked and the rumors were just that, a rumor?

Is Chip Cookies Coming to Twin Falls?

For months there have been rumors that the popular cookie chain Chip Cookies would be coming to Twin Falls. The location has long been rumored to be at 256 Blue Lakes Blvd in the new shopping center that is being built. These were not rumors, but indeed Chip Cookies was set to come to Twin Falls. It was originally scheduled to open in September, but construction delayed this opening day. If you search Chip Cookies on Google, the address is confirmed and shows that Chip Cookies is in Twin Falls, with a phone number attached. The problem is, that after reaching out to the potential owner, it has been confirmed that Chip Cookies will not be coming to Twin Falls.

After a recent conversation with the person who was set to own Chip Cookies in Twin Falls, it has been confirmed that plans have changed, and not only have they decided to not own Chip Cookies, but that corporate has decided to not have a location in Twin Falls at this time. If you click on the link above, you can see that the Chip Cookies website does not have Twin Falls listed as a location, but does include Meridian and Boise for those that are craving their cookies. The good news is that there are plenty of other delicious cookie options in Twin Falls.

While it is disappointing to find out that Chip Cookies will not be calling Twin Falls home at this time, hope is high that things will change in the future and that one day they will decide to add a location to the Magic Valley. The question will now turn to, if Chip Cookies will not take over the location in the shopping center, what will fill the space going forward?
