We have all been guilty of it at least once in our lifetimes, not cleaning off the car completely of snow. However, not doing it could actually cost you a $90 fine.

The Twin Falls Sheriff's Office sent out a reminder to everyone that you need to make sure you give yourself plenty of time in the morning before work to clean off your vehicle.

It isn't just the front windshield you need to make sure you clean off either. Make sure you clean off all windows, including your side mirrors and back window before you head down the road. It is a safety hazard if you don't.

In the middle of winter it can be a pain to get up an extra 10 minutes early so you have time to go clean off your car. I know I struggle doing it all the time. In fact I may admit to having driven without my rear window cleared off too many times. I will definitely be better at that because I know I don't want a $90 fine.

It is also a good idea to try to remember to clean the snow and ice off your headlights and tail lights as well. Maybe consider clearing the snow off your license plate as well. All of these things will help your chances of getting a ticket diminish.

Good luck and stay safe on the roads, make sure you can see everything before you head to work.
